April 17 - (The Insurer) - AI-driven MGU Neptune Flood has expanded its leadership team with three promotions and one new appointment, including the promotion of Matt Duffy to president.
Duffy, who joined Neptune in July 2021, was promoted from managing director to president. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives, partnerships and day-to-day operations.
Brad Schulz, formerly Neptune’s chief technology officer, has been appointed chief information security officer.
Schulz, who has been with the company since 2018, will now focus on enhancing information security and cybersecurity initiatives to protect policyholder data and digital assets.
Tom Wexler has been promoted to chief engineer. He joined Neptune in May 2024 as director of data science, where he led efforts to advance the company’s AI-driven underwriting and automation capabilities.
Alais Griffin joined Neptune as general counsel. She was previously a founding member of Griffin Strategic Law Advisors, where she advised businesses on legal, regulatory, and risk management strategies.
Neptune stated that the new appointments support its plans to expand its market presence, enhance customer experience and leverage technology to modernise flood insurance.
