- Taiwan's central bank said on Thursday that it sees no need to cut its reserve requirement ratio to inject funds into the market, as liquidity in the island's banking system for the Taiwan dollar is sufficient.

The central bank met with six banks on Wednesday to discuss impact of U.S. tariffs on banking liquidity and loan availability, it said in a statement.
