- (The Insurer) - The Federation of European Risk Management Associations (Ferma) said on Wednesday that Typhaine Beaupérin is to step down as CEO and secretary general in June.

Beaupérin assumed the role of CEO in December 2015, and was appointed secretary general in 2019.

During her tenure, she helped to shape the strategic direction of the organisation by arguing the interests of Ferma's member associations at EU and international levels and elevating the profile of the risk management profession.

She also led the development of Ferma’s EU policy manifestos, which set out the federation’s priorities for EU policymakers.

Ferma confirmed it has begun its succession planning and will announce the appointment of a new CEO in due course. A new secretary general will also be appointed.

"Our next CEO will take the helm of a Federation with clear strategic direction, a strong EU presence, and a firm mandate from its member associations," said Ferma president Charlotte Hedemark.
