Munich Re Specialty names Prosiegel as Digital Partners head

April 15 - (The Insurer) - Munich Re Specialty–North America has appointed Jascha Prosiegel head of Digital Partners.
Digital Partners provides insurtechs and digital distributors with go-to market partnerships built on Munich Re’s financial strength and expertise.
Prosiegel will lead Digital Partners’ efforts to equip digital brands with tools including capacity, product expertise and data analytics while advancing the team’s goals to bring in new partners.
He succeeds Kate Monahan in the role. Monahan recently moved into a corporate underwriting role within Munich Re Specialty–North America.
Prosiegel joined Munich Re in 2014 as an underwriter for special enterprise risks and has experience in primary and specialty insurance as well as reinsurance.
Most recently, he served as the North American market lead for AI Risks at HSB and Munich Re.
Prosiegel reports to Kevin Johnson, head of North American insurance programs for Munich Re Specialty–North America.
