Syrian officials plan to attend IMF, World Bank meetings in Washington DC, sources say

April 12 (Reuters) - Syria's finance minister, foreign minister and central bank chief are planning to attend the annual spring meetings held by the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in Washington, D.C. later this month, four sources familiar with the visit told Reuters.

It would be the first visit to the meetings by an official Syrian delegation in at least two decades. Two of the sources said it was unclear whether the officials had received visas to the U.S.
