BEIJING, April 11 (Reuters) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday that "the U.S. cannot act recklessly, and the wheel of history cannot go backwards," referring to U.S. tariffs on China.
Wang made the remarks in a meeting with the International Atomic Energy Agency's Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi in Beijing.
China on Friday increased its tariffs on U.S. imports to 125%, hitting back against U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to hike duties on Chinese goods to 145% and raising the stakes in a trade war that threatens to up-end global supply chains.
