Higginbotham acquires Georgia's Tidwell & Hilburn

April 9 - (The Insurer) - Texas-based insurance, financial and HR services firm Higginbotham has acquired Tidwell & Hilburn Insurance in Macon, Georgia, expanding to its 11th office in the state.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tidwell & Hilburn's roots go back to 1920. It offers both business and personal insurance.
In March, Higginbotham acquired Texas-based Program Insurance Group.
