- Germany's Social Democrats will name its ministers after party members approve a government coalition agreement with the conservatives, SPD party leader Lars Klingbeil said on Wednesday.

The SPD will be given seven ministries, Klingbeil said.

Those ministries include finance and defence, according to a document seen by Reuters.

"For some, it is not so much the agreement, but the question of who will do it that is decisive," said Klingbeil.

"I would like to say to them here that we will decide who takes responsibility for the SPD after a vote of the members."
