German coalition partners focus on US ties, economic plans in government agreement

BERLIN, April 9 (Reuters) - Germany's next government stressed that U.S. relations were of utmost importance and will aim for a medium-term free trade deal, according to a document outlining the coalition agreement reached by the country's conservatives and Social Democrats.
In the document released on Wednesday, the coalition partners also said they plan to cut corporation tax, boost industrial investment and look at modernising debt rules.
