BERLIN, April 9 (Reuters) - Germany's economy and foreign ministries will be led by conservative ministers, while their Social Democrat (SPD) partners take the portfolios of finance and defence, a source told Reuters on Wednesday.
The CDU/CSU bloc of chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz has agreed to form a coalition with the SPD, with details of their policy platform expected later Wednesday.
The source said a new digital ministry would be created, to be led by the CDU.
