Gallagher adds Aon's Davis to lead private equity and M&A practice

April 8 - (The Insurer) - Gallagher has hired Hunter Davis, former chief revenue officer and co-head of M&A and transaction solutions at Aon, as executive vice president and senior managing director for its private equity and M&A practice.

He will be based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Davis, who has more than 20 years of experience, most recently spent nine years at Aon. Before that, he held roles at Moelis & Company and Bear Stearns Companies.

In his new role, Davis will oversee the property and casualty and employee benefits operations of the private equity and M&A practice across Gallagher’s brokerage teams in the U.S.
