UK's Starmer vows to back auto makers 'to the hilt' over US tariffs

LONDON, April 7 (Reuters) - Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday Britain would back its car manufacturers "to the hilt" after U.S. President Donald Trump on April 3 imposed a 25% tariff on auto imports.
Starmer described the tariffs as a "huge challenge".
