MNK renames Lloyd's broker under unified brand

April 4 - (The Insurer) - MNK Group has unified its broking, MGA and risk-taking entities under a single brand across the geographies it operates in.

Under the new brand, Lloyd's broker MNK Re has been renamed MNK International.

The new brand also encompasses Specialty MGA, which operates in London, Milan, Texas and Casablanca.

The group also comprises MNK Seguros, an insurer based in Costa Rica; Mekong Re, a facultative and treaty reinsurance company in Labuan; and Florida Re, a P&C (re)insurance company.

MNK Group said it plans to continue growing organically, as well as through acquisition, with several M&A deals involving broking and insurance carriers in the pipeline.
