Volvo to boost Mexico plant investment to $1 billion, minister says

MEXICO CITY, April 3 (Reuters) - Sweden's AB Volvo VOLVb.ST will increase its investment in its new North American heavy-duty truck factory in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, from a previously announced $700 million to $1 billion, Mexico's Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Thursday.
