Gallagher acquires Missouri-based Imbs Holdings

April 3 - (The Insurer) - Arthur J Gallagher has acquired St Louis, Missouri-based Imbs Holdings, a retail insurance broker serving commercial and personal lines clients across the U.S.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Chris Imbs and his team will operate under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher's South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations.

"The Imbs team's market expertise and outstanding client relationships will enhance our retail brokerage capabilities in the region," said Patrick Gallagher, chairman and CEO.

In March, Gallagher acquired the remaining shares of Philippines-based Philpacific Insurance Brokers & Managers that it did not already own.
