Swiss industry group rejects retaliation on Trump tariffs

ZURICH, April 3 (Reuters) - Swiss industry group Swissmem said on Thursday it was against the imposition of retaliatory measures on U.S. import tariffs announced by U.S. President Donald Trump a day earlier.
Such measures would ultimately be counterproductive for Switzerland's export-oriented firms, Jean-Philippe Kohl, the deputy director of Swissmem told a media call.
