BEIJING, April 3 (Reuters) - China's foreign ministry said on Thursday the road in Guyana which U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described as built by China and "terrible" was not built by any Chinese company.
Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for the ministry, said Rubio's statement was a "falsehood" when asked about the comment in a regular press briefing.
It is better for the U.S. to do something tangible for countries in the region rather than "vilify" China, he said.
