- (The Insurer) - Axa XL has promoted Greg Chambers and Caitlin Alpern within its Americas cyber insurance team.

Chambers, who has been with Axa XL for nearly a decade, most recently served as an underwriting manager for cyber and technology E&O. He previously spent time at Marsh and CNA Insurance.

In his new role as head of complex accounts, he will oversee a portfolio of complex cyber risks and serve as the primary referral point during the underwriting process for such accounts.

Alpern joined Axa XL in 2021 and most recently held the position of senior cyber and technology underwriter. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Chubb, Marsh and Great American.

As team lead within the large and complex segment of the cyber & technology business in the U.S., she will manage accounts across the eastern U.S., assist with broader portfolio management, and represent Axa XL at major industry events.

“Their specialized expertise enables us to effectively address the unique cybersecurity risks and challenges faced by many of our clients, ensuring we provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs in an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape,” said Michelle Chia, head of cyber and technology.
