Russian, Iranian deputy foreign ministers discuss negotiations on Tehran's nuclear programme, RIA reports

MOSCOW, April 2 (Reuters) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi discussed ongoing negotiations regarding Tehran's nuclear programme with Russian counterpart Sergei Ryabkov, the state-run RIA news agency said on Wednesday, citing the Iranian embassy in Moscow.
RIA did not disclose specific details of the talks, but mentioned that both sides agreed to maintain close consultations to develop a joint framework aimed at resolving existing contradictions and lifting sanctions on Iran.
