Willis takes Marsh's Fowler as global nuclear head

March 31 - (The Insurer) – Willis has appointed Marsh's Kate Fowler as its global head of nuclear, the broker announced on Friday.

The broker said that Fowler will focus on emerging risks around construction in the nuclear sector. It said she will work with Willis' global construction and natural resources specialty businesses.

Charlotte-based Fowler has joined from a two-year stint as Marsh's global nuclear energy leader. Her prior experience included nine years at Nuclear Electric Insurance and roles at the Nebraska Public Power District.

Last week, Marsh named Everett Hansen its U.S. nuclear leader for Marsh Specialty.
