Embroker names USLI’s Easley as vice president of underwriting

March 20 - (The Insurer) - San Francisco-based insurtech platform Embroker has appointed former USLI executive Stephen Easley as vice president of underwriting.

With over 25 years of experience in specialty and professional lines underwriting, Easley joins Embroker after a decade at USLI, where he most recently served as vice president and senior underwriter.

Before USLI, Easley spent 10 years at CNA Insurance as national D&O practice leader and underwriting director. He began his career as a management liability underwriter at AIG.

In his new role, Easley will focus on expanding Embroker’s underwriting capabilities, refining specialty insurance products and working closely with the team to enhance coverage structures for businesses.

“Stephen’s depth of knowledge and leadership in underwriting makes him a perfect fit to help us refine and expand our specialty insurance offerings,” said Andy Lea, chief insurance officer at Embroker.
