Trump Japan nominee says US will have to ask Tokyo to increase support for troops

WASHINGTON, March 13 (Reuters) - The United States will "undoubtedly" have to ask Japan for an increase in its financial contribution for the upkeep of U.S. forces stationed in Japan, President Donald Trump's nominee to be ambassador to Japan said on Thursday.
George Glass made the comment at his nomination hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
