OTTAWA, March 12 (Reuters) - The Canadian government is in talks to help find a buyer for bankrupt Swedish firm Northvolt's battery plant in Quebec, Canada's industry minister said on Wednesday.
"We're having discussions in the background to see if we can find a party that is interested in taking over ... the factory," Industry Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne told reporters in Ottawa. "We are working in order to see how we can preserve the factory within Quebec."
