SpiritsEurope: EU's retaliatory tariffs 'devastating' for spirits sector

LONDON, March 12 (Reuters) - Industry association spiritsEurope said on Wednesday the European Commission's plan to impose retaliatory tariffs on a range of U.S. goods, including U.S. spirits such as bourbon, would have "devastating consequences" for the sector.
It was deeply concerned and disappointed by the decision, it continued, adding that the tariffs would hurt companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
