Aegis London appoints Bare chief risk and compliance officer

March 12 - (The Insurer) - Aegis London has appointed Charity Bare as its chief risk and compliance officer, the company said on Wednesday.

Bare is set to join Aegis London's executive leadership team and will be responsible for risk and exposure management, as well as compliance and regulatory operations.

She previously spent nearly two years as group risk director at Canopius.

Before that she held senior risk management roles at Brit, Talbot and Nephila. She also spent three years as a commercial combined insurance underwriter at AIG.

Earlier this week Aegis London named former Aegis president and CEO William Cullen as a non-executive director.
