ZURICH, March 12 (Reuters) - Switzerland is closely following the impact of potential U.S. tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump and was seeking to speak with officials from his administration, the government said on Wednesday.
Switzerland and the United States are close economic partners, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) said in a statement, with Bern saying it wished to maintain the "best possible market access."
"Switzerland is continuing to seek talks with the Trump administration in order to further strengthen and deepen bilateral economic relations," SECO said in a statement.
