Axa XL lines up Marsh's Nevill as specialty CUO

March 11 - (The Insurer) - Marsh Specialty's UK marine, cargo and logistics CEO Louise Nevill is set to join Axa XL, three senior marine sources told The Insurer.
Sources said that Nevill will take up the role of specialty CUO at Axa XL. This publication could not confirm when she is expected to start her new position.
Nevill joined Marsh as UK marine and cargo head in October 2019 from Gard, where she acted as a vice president.
Her previous senior positions include head of marine at both WRB Underwriting and Talbot, where she spent seven and ten years respectively.
Axa XL's specialty unit has seen a number of senior exits over the past 12 months, including the departure of UK and Lloyd’s marine, energy and aviation CUO Peter Welton in November, former UK and Lloyd's hull head David Hughes in May, and Hanna Vinje.
The unit's recent senior hires include former Fidelis Partnership head of airlines Abi Wilkins.
Marsh and Axa XL declined to comment.
