March 10 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday expressed optimism on Tuesday's planned meeting between U.S. officials and Ukrainians in Saudi Arabia, although he added that there were still more details to be worked out on the minerals deal between Washington and Kyiv.
Speaking to reporters en route to the Saudi city of Jeddah where he, along with U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, will get together with a high-level Ukrainian delegation on Tuesday, Rubio said Washington needed to understand Kyiv's position and have a general idea of what concessions they'd make.
