AmTrust Title adds Stewart Title's Gosdin as direct underwriting head

March 6 - (The Insurer) - AmTrust Financial Services subsidiary AmTrust Title Insurance Company has appointed James Gosdin as head of direct underwriting, based in Texas.

Gosdin previously served as senior vice president and chief underwriting counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Throughout his career, Gosdin has underwritten title insurance transactions across the U.S., including reinsurance and international transactions.

Gosdin's appointment marks the latest addition to AmTrust Title's expansion in Texas. In late February, the company also hired Shelly Rogers as regional agency manager for Texas, Susan Stewart Magana as agency representative and Janice Dempster.
