- (The Insurer) - Acrisure Re's corporate advisory and solutions division has appointed Lauren Johnson as head of Funds at Lloyd's.

Johnson will be responsible for expanding the Funds at Lloyd's offering, which has been identified as a key growth area for the company.

She rejoins Acrisure Re after an 18-month tenure at digital insurer Wakam as vice president of capital and reinsurance. She initially joined Acrisure Re in 2021 as vice president of corporate advisory and solutions, having previously served as head of Lloyd's at Securis Investment Partners.

Acrisure Re has also named Assad Negyal as head of pricing within the division. Negyal joined Acrisure Re earlier this year from Starr Insurance, where he was senior pricing actuary.

Lucas He has joined the corporate advisory and solutions division as vice president of retrospective solutions, having previously held legacy M&A roles at R&Q and Catalina.

At the end of last year, David Ryan was appointed head of exposure management for corporate advisory and solutions. He previously served as head of exposure management at Talbot Underwriting and exposure management manager at Lloyd's.

Late last year former Helios CEO Martin Reith was appointed as an adviser at Acrisure Re Corporate Advisory and Solutions, with a particular focus on advising managing director Ben Canagaretna on accessing third-party capital.

"We continue to see immense opportunity in the Lloyd’s FAL market and have grown in this space to become one of the largest managers of third-party funds at Lloyd’s," said Canagaretna.

"As the market becomes more sophisticated, pricing and exposure management capabilities are a key differentiator, particularly for new entrants who are looking for guidance as they go through the maturity levels within the Lloyd’s framework.”
