March 6 - (The Insurer) - Lloyd's insurer Apollo has appointed Gina Gill as chief information officer, effective March 2025.
Apollo said Gill will focus on driving the adoption of technology, tools and data solutions to enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives.
Gill has joined Apollo from the UK's Cabinet Office, where she was interim chief strategy officer. This followed a stint as chief digital and information officer at the UK Ministry of Justice.
She has previously held senior positions at the Financial Conduct Authority, Barclays Capital and Lloyds Banking Group.
Other recent senior appointments at Apollo include that of Rob Littlemore as an independent non-executive director for Apollo Syndicate Management Limited.
