Chile eyes stronger cooperation with Mexico, including trade

March 4 (Reuters) - Chilean President Gabriel Boric said on Tuesday that he had spoken with his Mexican counterpart, Claudia Sheinbaum, in a phone call in which they spoke about strengthening cooperation to face global challenges such as trade.
The phone call came hours after the United States imposed across-the-board 25% tariffs, which took effect overnight, on goods from Mexico and Canada - its two largest trade partners.
