Zurich eyes APAC growth with Todd appointed CUO

March 4 - (The Insurer) - Zurich has bolstered its leadership across Asia Pacific with the appointments of Alex Todd as CUO and Graham Johns as head of technical underwriting for the region.
In their new roles, the duo will be responsible for leading Zurich’s underwriting strategy, objectives and performance across the APAC region.
Todd joined Zurich in August 2023 as head of short tail, commercial insurance across APAC, where he managed the property, construction, upstream and downstream energy and marine lines.
He will report to both Penny Seach, group CUO, and Sean Walker, head of commercial insurance and chief technical officer, APAC.
Johns most recently served as technical director, underwriting, general insurance for Zurich Australia and New Zealand, a role he assumed in 2016. In his new role, he will report to Todd.
