March 4 (Reuters) - Continental CONG.DE cannot absorb any added tariffs on imports to the United States itself and is in talks with customers on how to handle the cost, its CFO Olaf Schick said on Tuesday, with 50% of its car tires sold in the U.S. imported from abroad.
It was too soon to say whether it would relocate production, Schick said. "We cannot accept additional tariffs," he added, speaking after the company released annual results for 2024.
