March 3 - (The Insurer) - Texas-based insurance, financial and HR services firm Higginbotham has acquired Program Insurance Group, an independent agency based in Georgetown, Texas, that offers EZ CERT, a nationally deployed insurance certificate tracking service for franchisors and franchisees.
Founded in 2013, Program Insurance Group is a family-owned firm providing business, nonprofit and personal insurance to clients across Texas, along with specialised franchise insurance nationwide.
The firm’s proprietary EZ CERT Management program simplifies compliance for franchisors and franchisees by tracking insurance certificates and ensuring adherence to franchise disclosure document (FDD) requirements.
Higginbotham chairman and CEO Rusty Reid called EZ CERT “one of the most effective services in the market for certificate tracking", and added that “we’re excited to leverage it across our broader network".
