Trump still weighing tariffs as deadline nears, US commerce chief says

WASHINGTON, March 3 (Reuters) - U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said President Donald Trump was still weighing pending tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico before the midnight deadline and will announce his decision on Tuesday.
Lutnick told CNN in an interview the two neighboring countries had done a good job on tightening their borders with the United States but had to do more to stop the flow of the drug fentanyl.
