Parametric insurtech Exante's CEO Lee steps down

Feb 27 - (The Insurer) - Exante CEO Chris Lee has stepped down five years after founding the parametric-focused insurtech.
The Dublin-based startup develops and provides technology for parametric insurance products. Last month it was awarded a $1 million grant to launch its sunshine guarantee in New York state, covering energy production for household solar panels.
"With Exante on a steady course with a great team, it was a good time to step away," Lee said in a LinkedIn post. The insurtech will now be led by chief technology officer Aidan Breen.
Lee said he is currently working on a project not linked to insurance, although he expects his next move to be in insurtech.
Before founding Exante in 2019, Lee worked as an innovation associate at Hannover Re in Dublin, where Breen worked as a senior software engineer.
