Beazley hires Generali’s Foucher to lead European property push

Feb 26 - (The Insurer) - Beazley has appointed Sara Foucher as head of commercial property for Europe.

Foucher will be based in Paris for the new role. She was previously head of underwriting for Generali Global Corporate & Commercial in France.

Prior to that she held property underwriting leadership roles at RSA and Swiss Re.

Beazley said the appointment marks its entry into the European property market, with Foucher tasked with leading the development of the company’s property offering in the region.

She will report to Richard Montminy, Beazley’s group head of property risks.
