Brown & Riding appoints Cassis as VP and casualty broker following return from RT Specialty

Feb 25 - (The Insurer) - Brown & Riding has appointed Hayley Cassis as vice president and casualty broker specialising in construction, marking her return to the firm after two years at RT Specialty.

Cassis rejoins wholesaler Brown & Riding after serving as a broker at RT Specialty, based in Tampa, Florida.

She originally joined the company in 2015 as a production associate and spent seven years there, ultimately serving as an account executive before departing in January 2023.

Speaking on Cassis’s appointment, Brown & Riding CEO Jeff Rodriguez said: "Her dedication and passion for the industry, combined with her proven expertise, make her a tremendous asset to our team. We look forward to the contributions she will make in this next chapter with us."

The firm's chairman and national construction practice leader, Chris Brown, added: “Having Hayley back on our team is a testament to the strong culture and values we’ve built at Brown & Riding. She is a respected casualty broker with extensive experience in construction risks, and we’re confident she will make a positive impact as we expand and enhance our capabilities to best serve our clients.”

In January, Brown & Riding announced that it had appointed JulieAnne Lally as its real estate practice leader.
