Saudi defence minister visits U.S. to discuss 'issues of common interests'

Feb 24 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's defence minister flew to Washington D.C. to discuss bilateral relations with the U.S. and issues of common interests, the Saudi defence ministry said on Monday.
The Saudi defence ministry did not reveal reasons for the visit, but it comes after the kingdom had recently hosted U.S. and Russian officials to discuss the war in Ukraine and restoring broader Russia-U.S. ties.
