
Feb 20 (Reuters) - Top asset manager BlackRock BLK.N said on Thursday it had resumed stewardship engagements with companies after reviewing new guidance from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
In a statement a BlackRock representative confirmed its temporary pause on the talks with companies as it assessed the guidance.
The regulator requires more disclosures from fund firms when they pressure portfolio companies over certain environmental, social or governance (ESG) matters.
