Toyota to transfer LG Energy battery order to Michigan plant

Feb 18 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor 7203.T has agreed to transfer its order for LG Energy Solution 373220.KS vehicle batteries to a Michigan plant that General Motors is exiting, the Japanese automaker confirmed Tuesday.
GM GM.N in December said it would sell its stake in the plant, which would have been the third Ultium Cells joint-venture battery plant operated by LG and GM. The companies have two U.S. battery plants operating in Ohio and Tennessee.
