Feb 18 - (The Insurer) - Aon has signed a co-broking agreement with Protecdiv, the Philadelphia-based small business reinsurance brokerage.
In a statement on Tuesday, Aon said it had entered into the new agreement to enhance its “service offerings to U.S.-based public and private sector entities”. The financial terms of the arrangement have not been publicly disclosed.
Founded in 2018 by T Kael Coleman, Protecdiv’s CEO, and Paul C Little, its COO, Protecdiv is a minority-owned enterprise brokerage specialising in serving public entity, specialty, and multinational clients in the P&C, mortgage and credit risk transfer spaces.
The two firms will collaborate on a variety of commercial insurance and reinsurance solutions associated with market needs within the public and private sectors, Aon said in the statement.
