Allianz Commercial promotes Ficarra to Asia Pacific ART head

Feb 18 - (The Insurer) - Allianz Commercial has appointed Rosa Ficarra head of alternative risk transfer (ART) for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
Ficarra had previously been based in London as a senior structured underwriter in Allianz Commercial's ART unit for five years, after three years working on portfolio management for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty's weather derivatives business.
Allianz Commercial's ART unit specialises in structured solutions for corporates and captives, such as multi-year and multi-line insurance contracts and virtual captives, as well as parametric risk transfer.
