Aon names Richards to succeed Corona as APAC CEO

Feb 18 - (The Insurer) - Aon has named Jennifer Richards as CEO of Asia Pacific.

Richards succeeds Anne Corona, who was appointed CEO of enterprise clients and global chief commercial officer in December.

In her new role, Richards will work alongside Aon's APAC executive committee to enhance the firm’s capabilities across the region, as well as delivering growth and strong financial performance under the 3x3 Plan.

Reporting to CEO of regions, Lori Goltermann, Richards will relocate from Australia to Singapore in the coming months, having most recently served as head of Australia.

Other previous roles at Aon in Australia include managing director, specialities, and client director, M&A solutions.

“The Asia Pacific region is critical to Aon’s strategy, representing significant growth opportunities across a diverse market,” Goltermann said.

Richards added: “There is so much opportunity in the Asia Pacific region, and together we will build on our existing momentum and accelerate our ability to help our clients navigate the multi-faceted, complex and interconnected challenges they face.”
