Travelers Europe names Lawton as COO

Feb 17 - (The Insurer) - Travelers Europe has appointed Mike Lawton as chief operating officer, subject to regulatory approval.
In his role new, Lawton will report to Matthew Wilson, CEO of Travelers Europe.
He oversee day-to-day business operations and the implementation of Travelers Europe's strategy.
Lawton joined the company in 2016 to lead the business insurance practice. Prior to that, he spent more than three years as CEO, retail broking at Towergate Underwriting Group.
Travelers operates in Europe in both the general insurance market and through Lloyd’s, where its Syndicate 5000 underwrites marine, energy, aviation, portfolio, accident and special risks.
