Allianz names Martin as AGCS chief risk and resilience officer
Feb 17 - (The Insurer) - Allianz Commercial has named Aymeric Martin as chief risk and resilience officer on the board of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.
Martin will assume responsibility for risk management, compliance, underwriting integrity and solutions, and global capital management at AGCS, the legal entity of Allianz with board responsibility for Allianz Commercial.
Martin currently serves as chief financial officer of Allianz Ireland, a role he assumed in late 2020.
Other previous roles at Allianz include senior business strategist for global lines and senior project lead for group capital structures.
Chris Townsend, CEO of AGCS SE and Allianz Commercial, said: “[Martin's] appointment reflects the increasing complexity of our industry and external environment, as well as the need for comprehensive risk management and oversight of our global business.”
