KYIV, Feb 12 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Wednesday that a critical minerals deal between Kyiv and Washington could leave Ukraine with "a security shield" once the war with Russia is over.
He made the remark at a press conference in Kyiv, during a visit he described as proving the Trump administration was determined to end the war and a signal that the U.S. stands with Ukraine against Russian aggression.
