Feb 12 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that interest rates should be lowered, writing on his social media platform that they would go "hand in hand" with upcoming tariffs.
His comments come as U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell testifies before Congress this week and Trump's trade advisers finalize plans for the reciprocal tariffs.
