Feb 11 (Reuters) - The White House plans to nominate former FDIC director Jonathan McKernan to serve as the full-time director of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Punchbowl News reported on Tuesday.
Punchbowl, citing to unidentified sources and a document sent to the Senate, also reported the White House has selected Jonathan Gould to lead the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
News of a full-time replacement for OMB Director Russell Vought, who is serving as the acting CFPB director, comes a day after McKernan announced his departure from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
